Centre Development
Centre Development has been committed to facilitating the development of new member centres for many years. We believe that the health of communities is enhanced through community-governed primary health care, and we strive to support community groups working to establish such services in their regions.
The Centre Development works with community groups from the early stages of securing funding for a new Community Health Centre, Community Family Health Team or Nurse Practitioner-led Clinic, through to ongoing support once the service is fully established. Support is available in a number of areas, including
- Developing requests for funding
- Conducting community engagement and community health needs assessments
- Program and service planning
- Partnership development
- Policy analysis and development
- Ongoing Board and management training and support
Latest News (June 2009):
