A Journey Through Poverty
: Moving forward with community-governed primary health care

On June 5th, during its Annual Conference At the Intersection of Poverty and Health, AOHC released a new publication entitled A Journey Through Poverty: Moving forward with community-governed primary health care. This publication takes the reader on a journey with people who have lived with and are living with poverty on a daily basis and demonstrates the role that community-governed healthcare plays in guiding and giving hope to those travelling this path.

This publication can be used in part as an advocacy tool, but more importantly, it tells the story of those struggling with poverty and that of work that our members do, demonstrating the great impact that it has on lives every day and validating the effort that we all put in on a daily basis.
